What size hole saws do you use for plumbing?

If you want to do your own plumbing at home, then you need some essential tools for making the job easier.

As part of you plumbing tool kit you will need a set of hole saws. Hole saws are used to makea hole in kitchen and bathroom cabinets to allow pipes to pass through. Lets say you have a base cupboard under the kitchen sink. The mains water stop tap is usually found here in most homes. Now if you want a dishwasher in the next base cabinet, you need to get the water pipes from the sink base unit to the dishwasher. For a dishwasher you would need a 15mm hot and cold pipe or just a cold pipe leading to inlet of dishwasher. It all depends on the model and type of dishwasher you buy. Read the instruction carefully before drilling any holes in the cabinet to see if your has hot and cold water supply pipes.

To make the job easier you would use a hole saw that is slightly larger than the pipe diameter. In this case you would choose a 19mm hole saw.
